PJ Harvey is one of the most successful contemporary rock musicians. She is also a poet and sculptor. She can organize material. From 2011 to 2014 she travels with reportage photographer Seamus Murphy to Afghanistan, Kosovo and Washington, D.C. – from this Rohsto her 9th solo album “The Hope Six Demolition Project” is created in 2016: texts that become songs; pictures that appear in video clips and also in this film – the production is completely accompanied, in several respects: The studio recordings themselves were filmed again by Murphy and they could be followed by an interested audience through specially constructed one-way windows. Concept? Art!
