Excellent films on the big screen. That was the motto under which the UNERHÖRT! team picked eight film pearls this year which will be shown between 7th and 10th April 2011. That is when the 4th UNERHÖRT! Musik Film Festival will take place in Hamburg. Parallel to the Dokumentarfilmwoche Hamburg the team surrounding Ralf Schulze will bring big names like Sly Stone and Oasis, The New Mastersounds and Emilíana Torrini on the silver screen. Also, this year a brand new jury of experts will chose and honour the UNERHÖRT! Best Music Film. Tickets are available directly from the festival cinemas B-Movie, 3001, Lichtmess and Metropolis.

The glorious start on the 7th April 2011 at 9.15 pm at the Metropolis cinema will be the British film „Upside Down“. It tells the tale of the legendary record label Creation Records and its artists including Oasis, Primal Scream and Teenage Fanclub.

Another highlight is the Funk & Soul Night on the 8th April 2011 from 7.30 pm Uhr at the B-Movie. „Coming Back for More“ describes the search for the long lost Funk legend Sly Stone, who in the end agrees to a rare interview. After that „Coals to Newcastle“ follows the leading Funk Jazz band The New Mastersounds on their way to the New Orleans Heritage Festival.

Best Music Film
The UNERHÖRT! Best Music Film 2011 will be presented on Saturdaz, 9th April 2011 at 7.30 pm during the ceremony of the Dokumentarfilmwoche at the B-Movie. The brand new jury of experts was selected afresh and details can be found here: PREISE.
