This film ties a family history and contemporary history with a kind of pre-pop cultural scavenger hunt to the biography of tango legend and bon vivant Pjotr Leschenko. The investigation into the lives of Dutch private individuals killed in concentration camps and the life and career path of the public figure Leschenko are shown with the aid of carefully selected archive material.
