For the 2007 edition of the Vienna International Film Festival VIENNALE, Cohen was commissioned with a multimedia concert piece inspired by Josephs Roth’s novel “The Radetsky March”. Cohen juxtaposed images of the declining Habsburg Empire and from WW I with footage from present day Vienna and Brooklyn. His visuals are an equally important element of a performance that includes life reading of texts of Roth’s, embedded in improvised music by Vic Chestnut, members from The Silver Mt. Zion, Guy Piciotto (Fugazi), and The Quavers - An agit-pop hallucination. http://www.jemcohenfilms.com.
