Contemporary dance as an instrument to explore a city and as a medium to storytelling: A boy looks for the ocean in the concrete buildings of Marseille and finds a girl. With the aid of focused choreography and deliberate imagery (cinematographer Mauch worked with Herzog and Schroeter et al.) the city begins to sound and the picture to dance. The film is a document about sound and sense of space on location and is a visual love poem in motion.
