Highlife is Africa’s Rock’n’Roll and it started in West African Ghana. There is not a style of music that is not transposed in Highlife, for example Burger Highlife, a sound mix of traditional music with Disco and Funk created by Ghanaian musicians living in Germany. The film tells how this special fusion came about with music and interviews. Numerous activists of the scene and musicians perform and present their tracks: George Darko, Bob Fiscian, Nana Acheampong, John Collins among others.
