In the year 35 after the German reunification, this piece could well become the music book of the year in Germany: Geralf Pochop, himself a former active East punk, provides the long-overdue systematic account of women in GDR punk. Before the Berlin publishing house Hirnkost (Klaus Farin) launches its official nationwide reading tour at the beginning of November, UNERHÖRT! is offering a preview: Nancy De Gregorio, an East Berlin punk woman (almost) from the very beginning, reads from the chapter dedicated to her and shows photos and film clips.

This will be followed by a moderated discussion between Nancy D.G. and Annette Benjamin (formerly Hans-A-Plast, now The Benjamins), with other guests not excluded – that’s what we call a culture of dialogue across former borders!
