Stephan Lamby has won many awards for his political documentaries. Here he tells the extraordinary life story of the two brothers Rolf and Joachim Kühn, each of them internationally renowned experts on his instrument, the clarinet and the piano respectively. Lamby observes the musicians during their performances, which they still give regularly at the age of 75 and 90. Above all, he tells a special German post-war story based on their biographies.
