Crows In The Rain

by Pejman Farhadi

Dark ambient from Iran. Sounds to allow deep feelings,
and to come to terms with life.

In 2014, a couple of friends in Tehran start making music that is unusual for Iran. Today known as pioneers of the dark ambient scene, the musicians do not differ from the common image of the Iranian man by their appearance alone. Loneliness, unfulfilled dreams, isolation, friendship and farewell – feelings for which there are often no words – find their expression in the music of the Crows in the Rain, which director Pejman Farhadi accompanies very closely and sensitively in his debut feature.
