Reflection of an aging word artist about his way to hip hop, the Danish hip hop scene of the 1990s, finding his own approach and language, the essence of hip hop (the interplay of words and rhythm), failure, the way of hip hop from a subculture to the mainstream.
Actually Runar Gudnason wanted to make a film about his time with the Danish hip hop scene much earlier, but then he became a rapper himself and quite successful in his home country Norway. It was only during Corona that he completed the film project he started during his student days in Aalborg (DK), though it has now become much more than just a documentary about Danish hip hop culture in the 1990s. A multi-faceted picture of this is composed of old and new footage.
