Radical electronic Music

Nine noise artists. Nine solo performances. Nine self-presentations. One hermetic room – only a few cameras are watching. One round table between each performance: five of the involved musicians talk with the film director in a very focussed way about various aspects of their work.

À QUI VEUT BIEN L’ENTENDRE aka TO WHOEVER WANTS TO LISTEN shows the practice and theory of a radical form of music that does not only operate outside the entertainment industry, but directly against it! But despite this fighting spirit, this will for resistance, these particular works on sound unfold surprising filigree, finesse, and yes: beauty, and it becomes clear what this is actually all about: a schooling of the ear.

A warning, nonetheless: The film contains a sequence that is not only not suitable for minors, but can (and probably wants to) be disturbing even for adult minds.
