Classically trained Lena Platonos experimented with synth-pop sounds in the early 80s and achieved cult status in Greece with several albums. There she is often compared to Laurie Anderson because of her haunting chanting. The film traces Platonos’ path until her rediscovery through contemporary remix labels like Dark Entries. It quickly becomes clear: Platonos’ originals have much more substance than the products of the recyclers.
